In this study, researchers from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran examined the effects of reflexology massage on pain relief after appendectomy. The results of their study were published in The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.
Based on these findings, the researchers concluded that reflexology is effective for reducing pain after appendectomy surgery.
